This is your brain on METH…

 In Uncategorized

We here at Meth Mob Decontamination Specialists get asked this question all the time by individuals that feel they may have an issue with Meth Contamination. They ask, “IS METH CONTAMINATION REALLY THAT HARMFUL”

WELL…

When addicts use Meth repeatedly, the drug changes their brain chemistry, destroying the wiring in the brain’s pleasure centers and making it increasingly impossible to produce dopamine and experience any pleasure at all. Although studies have shown that these tissues can regrow over time, the process can take years, and the repair may never be complete.

When the National Institution of Drug Abuse took part in a study of those that had abused Meth, the brain scans of these individuals showed that after being off the drug and clean for at least 14 months, their brains had regrown most of the damaged dopamine receptors; however, they showed no improvement in the cognitive abilities damaged by the drug. After more than a year’s sobriety, these former meth users still showed severe impairment in memory, judgment, and motor coordination, similar to the symptoms seen in individuals suffering from Parkinson’s Disease.

SO YES!!!

Meth and Meth contamination is Extremely Harmful and once exposed to it for any extended length of time the human body may never recover completely from the damage it has caused. This damage can be a larger threat and more severe to younger children, because they have brains that are still in the developmental stage and are at a higher risk of Hand-To-Mouth exposer.

DON’T TAKE THE CHANCE OF HAVING YOUR “LIFE” CHANGED
